Meet Our Staff

Alexa Williams, R.N.

Alexa's journey in the medical field is defined by dedication, compassion, and a profound commitment to her patients. With over 17 years of experience as a registered nurse, Alexa has forged a path that merges traditional medical expertise with a deep-seated passion for functional medicine. Her career began in the Neuro ICU at UPMC Presbyterian and later in the ICU at UPMC East, where Alexa honed her skills in critical care. Transitioning to home health nursing, Alexa brought the same dedication and empathy into her patients' homes, providing personalized care and support during their most vulnerable moments.

Despite finding fulfillment in her career, Alexa sensed that something was missing. Her transition to functional medicine allowed her to align her professional life with her personal values, blending clinical expertise with a holistic approach to health. Alexa's lifelong passion for health and fitness has always been a guiding force. This passion took on new dimensions in 2020 when her daughter Emma was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease. Frustrated by the lack of comprehensive care from conventional doctors, Alexa sought alternative approaches and discovered Dr. Lobur's functional medicine practice. This experience ignited her interest in functional medicine, prompting her to explore integrative health solutions and deepen her understanding of patients' experiences.

Beyond her role as a dedicated nurse, Alexa is a loving wife and mother to her husband and three daughters. They share a passion for the outdoors, water activities, traveling, and embracing life to the fullest. Alexa brings extensive experience and compassionate care to her patients, embodying the power of listening, learning, and evolving to deliver exceptional care. Her goal is to inspire those around her with empathy, resilience, and a lifelong commitment to health and well-being.

Jaclyn Lobur

Practice Manager

Jaclyn is Dr. Lobur’s wife and their journey together in life and love has fully led to a passion and adoption of functional medicine in all aspects of their personal and professional lives. An instinctive drive to raise their children in the healthiest and natural way possible instilled a mindset for embracing functional medicine in full force with a “homesteading Paleo clean food/air/water/product + optimal sleep/stress/exercise” vibe running through the whole household.

Jaclyn can truly empathize with the patients we treat given her own health journey in recovering from toxic mold and Lyme disease which took hold shortly after Dr. Lobur started his training in functional medicine. It truly felt as though it was fate to find functional medicine to help Jaclyn overcome these health challenges!

In addition to being a busy homeschooling mom of four, Jaclyn plays an integral role in helping to optimize the PCFM experience through office design and décor, supplement procurement, email/social media/website updates and fielding calls and guiding patients through our protocols. She truly loves functional medicine and her role as the “heart” of PCFM!
